The library catalogue will be unavailable on Wednesday 24 June while we complete an upgrade. Library branches will remain open and you can still borrow and return items in person. On this day the library catalogue will be unavailable for searches, placing holds or renewing items that day. A new library app will be available from Thursday 25 June. 

What changes on Wednesday 24 June

• The library catalogue will be unavailable all day
  • You will not be able to log in to the catalogue
  • You will not be able to search the catalogue online
  • You will not be able to place holds or renew items online
• Library branches will remain open as usual. You can still borrow and return items in person.

New library app from Thursday 25 June

• A new library app will be available from Thursday 25 June.
  
• The current app will stop working on Tuesday 30 June.
  
• Please save any bookmarks or book lists from the current app before changing over.
  
• Current users will receive information in the existing app on Thursday 25 June about how to upgrade to the new library app.

What you need to do

• Visit your library branch as usual if you need to borrow or return items on Wednesday 24 June.
  
• Please wait until the catalogue is available again if you need to search, place a hold or renew items online.
  
• Save any bookmarks or book lists from the current app before Thursday 24 June.

What happens to my bookmarks or book lists in the current app?
They will not move to the new app. Please save them before changing over, for example by taking screenshots or making notes.
If you log into the catalogue you can immediately save them as Savedlists which will appear in the new app as Picklists.

What happens to the accounts I linked in the app?
You will need to link them again in the new app. Just click the menu at the top left and then the Accounts area.

Where can I get the new app?
Links to install the new app will be added here from Thursday 25 June.

Why did you get a new app?
The new app will allow you to access all catalogue functionality and shares the same database so it will always be up to date.
