Interlibrary Loans
Firstly, please search our catalogue to make sure we do not hold the title you are looking for.
If items are not held by City of Melbourne Libraries, we are often able to obtain them from other libraries via our interlibrary loans system, Library Link 3 (LLV3).
Please note currently Library Link 3 (LLV3) only searches the catalogues of libraries within the LLV3 network (a group of seven Victorian Public Libraries).
We anticipate integration with libraries Australia-wide in future.
In the meantime, you can request an interlibrary loan (ILL) outside of LLV3 by clicking the link below. Log in with your library card number and password, select "Create request", and manually provide details of the item.

- We aim to first source interlibrary loans at no cost. If this is not possible, we will contact you to discuss associated charges before proceeding with the request.
- You may have two interlibrary loans in process at any one time.
- Interlibrary loans are for six weeks.

Renewal requests must be made at least five days before the due date, and are subject to approval from the lending library.
